The VTM4000 is an upgraded version (replacing the previous VTM3000 model) of a simple programmable thermostat designed for controlling electric direct heating systems in residential spaces.
The basic control principle is based on switching between preset comfort and setback temperatures within defined time intervals.
The VTM4000 comes with preconfigured common time programs. Users can lock the keypad to prevent unwanted changes, and service settings are protected by an access password.
The thermostat records the total heating time (the duration of output relay activation) in memory, allowing users to view heating duration or energy consumption for the latest period.
The VTM4000 thermostat complies with EU Directive 2024/1103 on the eco-design requirements for local space heaters and related standalone control units.

Function
The VTM3000 room thermostat allows room temperature control based either on a time schedule or a temperature set via buttons, where the thermostat disregards any time program and follows the currently set temperature. If the time schedule is used, up to six temperature changes per day can be programmed between user-adjustable comfort and economy temperatures. The time schedule can be set identically for each day of the week (daily), differently for each day of the week (weekly), or one schedule can be set for workdays and another for the weekend (work week). Additionally, a 24-hour comfort or economy mode can be easily activated using the 24h key. The room temperature can be regulated based on air temperature measurement via an internal sensor, floor temperature measurement via an external sensor, or both measurements simultaneously.
